FAA FCU Checking accounts offer a variety of services to its members. No minimum balance is required, however, you must already have a Savings account to open a Checking account. Our Checking account has no monthly service fee and no per check writing limit. We offer Overdraft Protection to you at no cost. Our VISA FAAst Chex Debit Card is available to quickly access your account from anywhere.

FAA FCU Money Market Checking accounts are available for members who want to earn interest on their Checking accounts. You will receive free checks, a monthly statement and quarterly dividends. A minimum balance is required and some fees may apply.

Regular Checking account offers:

No Minimum Balance. You’ll love the flexibility and convenience of our Checking account because there is no minimum balance to maintain. You can withdraw your funds when needed without worrying about falling below a required minimum balance.
No Monthly Service Charge. Compare FAA FCU with other financial institutions’ Checking accounts and you’ll discover that we are one of the few that offer no monthly service charges on Checking accounts, with no minimum balance requirements.
No Per Check Fee. Because we don’t charge you a per check fee, you can never write too many checks!
Recognized and Readily Accepted Drafts. We have established worldwide acceptance of our checks due to the good reputation of our members and the FAA. Our basic checks are imprinted with the FAA FCU logo to easily identify you as part of the FAA FCU family.
Easy Record Keeping. With carbonless duplicate checks and your monthly statement, record keeping is a snap.
Easy Access. Deposits may be made in person, by mail, through ACH, or payroll deduction up to your entire net earnings. You may access your account through AMI, our 24-hour Audio Response system; E* Teller, our online banking system; or in person at one of our seven branch locations.

Money Market Checking account - Members who maintain a balance of $5,000 or more may apply for the Money Market Checking account. Dividends will be calculated on the Average Daily Balance and paid monthly to the account. There is no monthly service charge for this account unless your balance falls below the minimum of $5,000, at which time you will be charged a $10 service charge per month.

You will receive free checks for this account and you may apply for a FAAST CHEX for unlimited access. Ask a Member Service Representative for more details.

Our FAAST CHEX deducts purchases directly from your Checking account, and also serves as an ATM Card. There is no fee for the card and no monthly service charge. You can make unlimited purchases at any merchant that accepts VISA® without additional charges. The FAAST CHEX may be used as an ATM Card at any ATM participating in the same networks listed on the back of the card. Either way you use the card, you have unlimited 24-hour access to your Checking account anywhere in the world. To report a lost/stolen card call (800) 654-7728 .

Collegiate Account

Designed exclusively for College Students and their parents. Each Collegiate Account gives the student access to the funds they need when they need them from anywhere.

As joint owner on the account, parents can rest assured that you have the funds needed while away at college. When funds are needs, parents can make a quick deposit into the Collegiate Account and the funds can be withdrawn with a debit card from any ATM. If a fee is incurred the student has 30 days to request a refund.

The Collegiate Account also comes with the Collegiate Visa Card to help build credit and be accessible for emergencies up to a maximum limit of $300.
